Lady Jocelyn L. Harris

Lady J, is a native of the St. Louis metro area born in Alton Illinois to the proud parents of Walter and Jean Washington and has a strong an active family background within the community. Lady J interests are the creative arts, sports, entertainment, and social media technologies. Lady J holds an Associate in Science from Lewis & Clark Community College with plans to further her education
to obtain a B.S. in Psychology to launch her own private counseling practice.
Lady Jocelyn is married to Pastor William “Chris” Harris of Brown’s Faith Temple Church of God in Christ where they minister together to a loving congregation in Alton and are proud founders of Life Empowerment Outreach Ministries, serving the St. Louis Metro area. Lady J is passionate and loving person who cares for humanity and the state of being of individuals all over the diaspora and believes a part of her gifting is
outreach ministry – to minister to the entire person. Serving others with a listening ear and an opening heart is what Lady J does best.

Some of Lady Jocelyn’s accomplishments are:

•  Preaching and teaching the unadulterated and infallible word of God!

•  Instituted & Leads Hour of Power Prayer Service on Friday nights at Brown’s Faith Temple COGIC

• Lead Intercessor for YFC Ministries

•  Launched an in-house after-school program for two years Monday thru Friday and fed over 40 children daily

•  Instituted the BFT Computer Lab in the lower level of the church and is the Head of IT and Media Department for the church

•  Passionate about Homeless and Outreach Ministry; served as the Homeless Outreach Coordinator for Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House/Continuum of Life Care Center in East St. Louis, IL

• Visionary and lead of the Leading Ladies Conference:                                                                 T.W.E.E.T. Triumphant Women Exercising in an Excellent Travail

•  Board Member for Options Now (a non-profit organization that provides services for women unplanned pregnancies)

•  Owner of “The Locust” – shaved ice and snacks, Franchise Owner of NuRepublic Tax Agency, Cloud9Bounce Entertainment Rentals, Lady J's Travel, Lady J's Printing & Consulting, and Riverbend Skate Indoor Family Fun Center.

•  Foster Care Parent to several youth.

Lady J is the proud mother of two beautiful children, William C. Harris II and Ava J. Harris. Lady J is becoming an emerging voice, a Woman of God truly called for this hour to forge the future for the next generation.
